Welcome to Mori.City (the “Site”). We understand that privacy is important to users of our Site. This statement governs our privacy policies with respect to those users of the Site (“Visitors”) who visit without listing and Visitors who list with on this site and make use of the various services offered by Mori City (collectively, “Services”) (“Authorised Customers”).

Mori City treats all personal information as private and confidential. We shall only use your name and other information relating to you in the manner set out in this privacy notice.
It is important that the information given to us is accurate, complete and not misleading. You warrant the accuracy of all information provided as part of or in connection with a listing.
We will use reasonable endeavours to ensure that the information that we hold about you (i) is accurate and up to date, (ii) that we do not keep it for longer than necessary and (iii) that appropriate measures are in place to protect the information from any unauthorised use, except where disclosure is made at your request or with your consent or where we are required by law to disclose it. If any of your information changes after you provided it to us (e.g. your name, email address etc) please tell us as soon as possible so that we can update the information we hold about you.
Personal Data About You That We Collect
When we refer to “personal data” in this Notice, we mean information that relates to you. Your personal data may include for example your name, your contact details or information on how you use our website, or you interact with us.
We collect some of your personal data directly from you, for example when you use our website or our app, use our services or contact us.
The information we collect about you includes:

We collect the following additional information from our Authorised Customers: the names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses of Authorised Customers/Listers, and some business details (please see our ‘Add Your Listing’ page).

We use your personal data to customise the Site, to make appropriate service offerings, and to fulfil listing requests on the Site. We may email Visitors and Authorised Customers about research or purchase and selling opportunities on the Site or information related to the subject matter of the Site. We may also use your personal data to contact Site Visitors and Authorised Customers in response to specific enquiries, or to provide requested information.
Sharing Personal Data
Your personal data may be shared with site listed companies whom you’ve requested services from.
Protecting Personal Data
We are committed to protecting the personal data we hold by taking appropriate technical and organisational measures against unauthorised, unlawful or accidental access, loss, destruction or damage of such personal data.
How you can protect your data
You can follow some simple steps to keep your information secure. When you create your Mori.City account, choose a strong password that is unique to this account and do not share your password with other people. If you use the same password across your different accounts, you increase the risk of your data being compromised if your password is accidentally or unlawfully accessed by another person. If you suspect that someone else has got access to your password, make sure that you change it immediately.
If you receive an email that looks suspicious, or you have doubts as to whether an email was actually sent by Mori.City, please report it to us. Please note that we will never ask for your payment card details via email.
Storing Personal Data
Personal data collected by Mori City is securely stored and is not accessible to third parties or employees of Mori City except for use as indicated above.
Contacting you about Products and Services
You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. You can opt-out by contacting us at [email protected]/or unsubscribing to any email lists that Mori City decides to use. You can also exercise the right at any time by contacting us.
We will not provide information about you to third parties to use for their own marketing purposes unless you have given us your consent.
Cookies
A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns.
In order to improve our services, to provide you with more relevant content and to analyse how visitors use our website and app, we may use technologies, such as cookies, pixels or tracking software. Please be aware that in most cases we will not be able to identify you from the information we collect using these technologies.
For example, we use software to monitor customer traffic patterns and website usage to help us develop the design and layout of the website in order to enhance the experience of the visitors to our website. This software doesn’t let us collect any personal data. In addition, in order to understand how our customers interact with the emails and the content that we send, we use pixels that allow us to know if the emails we send are opened or if the content of our emails is displayed in text or html form.

How Long We Keep Your Data

This will not normally exceed a maximum of 6 years from the time that no further sums are owed to us or to you.

Right to Rectification: You are entitled to have any incomplete and inaccurate personal information held by us rectified.
Right to Erasure (‘be forgotten’): In certain circumstances you are entitled to have personal information erased. However, we may continue processing the information in certain circumstances. If you request that we erase your personal information we shall advise you if we consider that there are on-going grounds permitting us to continue processing your information.
Right to Restrict Processing: You can ask us to restrict the processing of personal information we hold about you in certain circumstances. We will advise you if we do not agree with your request to restrict processing and our reasons.
Right to Data Portability: Where you provide personal information to us and consent to us using it and the processing is carried out by automatic means you are entitled to receive a copy of that information in a machine-readable format and for that to be provided to another data controller, where technically possible.
Right to Object: You are entitled to object to our collection, use of and otherwise processing of your personal information where the basis for the processing is our legitimate interests or the processing is in the public interest. You may object to processing for direct marketing purposes at any time. In such circumstances we shall cease processing your personal information unless we are otherwise permitted to process the information under applicable data protection laws.
Right to Withdraw Consent:Where you have given us consent to make use of your personal information for any of the purposes outlined in this privacy policy you shall be entitled to withdraw that consent.
Right to Complain:In the event that you have any questions, concerns or complaints regarding this privacy policy or the manner in which we collect, use and otherwise process your personal information you should contact our data protection officer in the first instance. If our data protection officer is unable to resolve the issue to your satisfaction you are entitled to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Changes To This Privacy Notice
We will let our Visitors and Authorised Customers know about changes to our privacy policy by posting such changes on the Site.
